Psalm 51:8 declares "Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice." In the midst of hardship there is hope, that's just the type of joy we serve. Fred has been a great inspiration in my life for many years. May the God of Peace fortify your walls. Be blessed Be strong

My mother and her fiance are big fans of yours. They both enjoy worshipping with you. On Father's Day I watched your "Free to Worship" DVD, I enjoyed every moment of it. Especially when you bought Rueben Studdard out.You can feel your passion for the Lord. I am only 18 years old, had went through a difficult relationship my first year in college. Still dealing with the effects of how Hurricane Katrina changed my life, I gave up a little inside.Just listening to your testimony before singing "I am Yours" made me realize it's time to give back to the Lord. It's difficult for anyone to understand. Thank you, for your music, your ministry and most of all for sharing your gift with others. May God continue to bless you. I am sorry to here about your divorce, just remember God does everything for a reason.I will continue to lift you up in my prayers.

MY BROTHER FRED HAMMOND...I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT YOUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC HAS BEEN A BLESSING TO ME, FROM COMMISSIONED TO YOUR SOLO YEARS. FROM 'ORDINARY JUST WON'T DO' TO 'THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE'. I'VE BEEN ENCOURAGED DAILY BY YOUR MINISTRY ESPECIALLY DURING TOUGH TIMES FOR ME IN 2005. I WAS SEPARATED IN DEC. 2005 AND DIVORCED IN OCT. 2006. I DON'T READ MANY MAGAZINES, SO I HAD NO IDEA THAT YOU WERE DIVORCED UNTIL TODAY. WHETHER YOU'RE RECONCILED I DON'T KNOW. IF YOU ARE THAT'S A BLESSING, IF NOT JUST KNOW THAT GOD LOVES YOU... GOD LOVES THE DIVORCEE, EVEN THOUGH HE DISLIKES DIVORCE. THIS IS WHAT GOD HAS ENCOURAGED ME DAILY WITH, KNOWING THAT MY STEPS (AND YOURS-OF COURSE) ARE ORDERED BY GOD, AND THAT THE THINGS THAT WE GO THROUGH IN LIFE ARE TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS. WITH YOUR TESTIMONY, WITH THE LIFE YOU LIVE IN CHRIST...KNOW THAT YOU ARE CALLED AND CHOSEN BY GOD TO REACH LIVES ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR IT IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY. MY PRAYERS, LOVE, AND SUPPORT GO TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. PLEASE COME TO BATON ROUGE SOON FOR CONCERT,ETC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOUR MINISTRY...KEEP MOVING FORWARD...MAY GOD KEEP ON BLESSING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the LORD have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it." - Ezekiel 36:36

Be encouraged Minister Hammond. I am approx. 2 yrs late w/my comment regarding your divorce. I am not one to follow this type of gossip, but having heard your testimony this past Friday in Chicago w/Bishop Jakes, I too have had to reposition myself, which is why I was in the location that you visited last week. I too am divorced and while it is a very painful ordeal, I have to believe that God has something better for me. What God has for me is for me, and nobody can change that. Stay encouraged Brother Hammond and I pray that one day our paths will again cross.

See a friend of my said that the reason why you got divorce was because you and the singer that sing in spanish have a affair.
