You know I agree with that Mr. Hammond. Sometimes we need to be ministered to. Mr. Hammond, I know you are always their for people, exalting and lifting up the name of the lord for others but you need some encouraging for yourself. Spmetimes it's good for the person that's always leading to get some word so that your cup continues to overflow for your own everyday life. Mr. Hammond you are continously in my prayers for the short time I have known about your divorce. God Bless you!

Mr. Hammond, I know you are always their for people, exalting and lifting up the name of the lord for others but you need some encouraging for yourself. Dear Bro Fred
You have been one of my greatest inspirations to worship God since He saved me in 1984. I feel we have grown up in God with you and when I discerned that you were not with your wife and this was confirmed, my heart broke for you. I know that God will uphold you, you are His instrument for His glory and I know that it was not your wish to divorce ever. May God strengthen you and give you grace during this time of separation from your soulmate. I will pray that God will do the miraculous and restore your marriage despite the divorce, but if it is not to be, then know that God can restore even that which the cankerworm has eaten. It is not God's will for you and your family to be destroyed by the enemy, but continue to allow God to be the potter and the refiner and know that when He is done with you you will come out of this as pure gold. Your Album, free to worship is testament to the fact that GOD has His hand on your life and you will bring Him glory and touch lives and save lived and restore men and women to a right relationship with God, a relationship of intimacy and of true WORSHIP. First of Fred let me say that I love your music because it is real. I know what it is like to be divorced but God does put back together what is truely his will. My husband and I have been divorced for 15 years and last year on October 29,2007 we were remarried. I thank God for putting my family back together. When we were ready to serve God and left all the foolishness alone God came in and truely blessed so don't think for a momment that it is over because it isn't. This is just the beginning.

We are all human beings, and are subject to the devil's instruments. Since I've first heard of Fred Hammond, every album starting with I'm Persuaded to Free to Worship has a song that administers the right dose of medicine for any and every emotion one can feel. Your gift to communicate what others are thinking and feeling while at the same time pointing to the solution is truly a blessing. If not the lyrics, just the arrangement and the instruments pulses, there's hope, just wait and see.
For all the times you've helped millions around the world, I hope the few that truly and sincerely mean what they're posting thru these sitesites, are enough to return the blessing. There's no greater love than Christ. There's no greater person than a true friend. There's no greater joy than knowing that your talents and gifts are really at work, doing what they were intended to do. I hope these words can do for you what your music has done for my family and I. Stay blessed, stay encouraged, and strong in the Lord. He will reward.

First of all this really grieves my spirit. Fred, I am not judging you, but from a sister to a brother I'm sorry that your marriage had to end in divorce. I once saw you in concert a couple years ago where you had testified that you at that moment had really had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for 4 years. I was a little amazed, but appreciated your transparency and honesty. Fred, you went on to say how all those years singing gospel music that you were not saved (serving God). Now to hear that you are walking and serving God and that now you would be divorcing this does make me sad for you and your wife. Fred, the bible does not allow for troubled times as biblical grounds to divorce. You vowed for better or for worse. What did you think worse was?
I do apologise if there were biblical ground, but if not I do continue to pray for the body that we will stop being decieved in spliting a houses apart and thinking about our own needs. All thing are possible with God. Matthew 19:26 and Mark 10:27. Note, all not some.

fred hammond is an outstanding and gifted musician,but we all have a personel life, and he of course is human like everyone else,lets keep him and family in our prayers.

Every great proposition, faces several oppositions. Show me a man of God who hasn't been through rough times while doing God's work, and I'mma show you a fake minister. The greater a man is used by God, the greater the trials and challenges he faces and will still have to face. This is just a sign that you're in the right field, and doing the right thing for God. Keep doing your thing Bro, and keep your head up; each and every song you minister applies to my everyday life. I wouldn't have made it to where I'm at rite now, if U didn't allow Urself to be used mightily by God. You're always in my prayers man, and God's gone back you up in all you do, 'cos Ur out there doing his thing.
I just pray i'm able to attend at least one more of your live ministrations if its the last thing I do, the last time you came to Brooklyn, I couldn't attend, and till now, i still haven't forgiven myself.
