I defy anyone to find a more hauntingly lovely Celtic aire than "Creator Of Creation". The way in which Sarah Lacey's beautifully expressive voice glides across the uilleann pipes and deftly fluid rhythms is spine tingling, while the lyrics, inspired by Carmina Gadelica: Hymns And Incantations, invoke the protective hand of the Truine God. Then there's "Keep Me Sailing" with its deft piano figure from Richard lacey over which his sister sings to the "Holder of the rudder/And the anchor of my heart" plus some beautiful instrumentals. 18 tracks of superlative musicianship from one of the best kept secrets in the UK scene. One of the best Celtic albums every recorded, in my book.

This is an album I came across after listening to "Open Sea", which is featured on Iona's "Songs For Luca" album. I took a chance with this album and it paid off.

Sarah Lacy's singing is pure and her diction perfect and, with great backing from top class musician's and a set of very strong songs which, although strong on religious content, are not sermons, this is an excellent album.

Hence the reason why I concur with the review by Tony Cummings.
