Holy hip hop from American rapper Canton Jones who writes, arranges and produces with musical help from Ramona Estell-Jones. Kicking off with the understated funk of "Party Tonight", the album kicks into gear with "For Myself" which combines some old school electro sounds and solid funky rhythms and soulful vocals intertwined with Jones's rapping. Sweet and effective. The soulfulness shines through so that this album really is R&B flavoured hip hop because Canton manages to match singing with rapping on the slower "Unconditional" before the title cut celebrates his testimony and the day of his salvation. It's very competent musically and there are a few flashes of creativity like "The Voicemail Of Jesus Christ" which is followed by the talkbox driven funk of "Phone Song". Generally though this is good but not the kind of album that will have R&B or hip hop fans stopping in their tracks to hear some more.

I am a 51 year old holy ghost filled grandmoter of 9. I
lost my husband in a car accident 2 years ago on July 22.
Since his I began to listen to hip hop gospel artist because
they really have a story to tell. You and other artist such
as Mary Mary have been life savers for me as well as keeping
me on the pathway of righteousness. Many saints my age are
opposed to hip hop gospel but when I share your music with
them they immediate make a paradigm shift.
Baby keep on doing your thing for God allowing the Holy Ghot
to lead you our young people need you because in the end it
is all about Jehovah the almighty and his son Jesus Christ
