Gospel giant Fred Hammond speaks about his recent divorce.

GOSPEL veteran Fred Hammond, who has recently been working on his new album 'Somethin' 'Bout Love' for Verity Records, spoke to CCM magazine about problems in his personal life. The singer said, "The last two, two and a half years have been really hard, but the bottom line is I and my wife separated and divorced. This was a very horrible thing for me - we didn't get married to leave each other, but we were on two different streets. We waited it out, prayed and we tried. The only thing worse would've been getting told I had an incurable disease. Other than that, it was the worst thing I could've ever gone through." CR
