The Backstreet Boys featuring Brian Littrell get mixed reviews for new album
POP MAINSTREAM best sellers the Backstreet Boys, whose lineup includes committed Christian Brian Littrell and who have sold over 130 million records worldwide, have received mixed reviews for their 'In A World Like This' album, their first CD in four years. The Guardian called it "an album that illustrates the difficulty of bridging the gap between boyband and manband" while Rolling Stone wrote, "Max Martin contributes the title track, one of the few songs that don't sound dated or just plain awkward." Crosswalk.com reported, "As for content, subject matter stays family-friendly-Littrell's an outspoken Christian-save for a mild expletive, drinking party reference and a line about making sweet sexy babies. Slow it down there, boys."

This is a terrific album. I don't agree with the negative reviews. I go by what kind of music I like and I have to say, that is the best BSB album by far. I really like the direction they went for this album and it really shows their level of maturity. Way to go, guys. Here's to another 20 years of keeping the Backstreet Pride alive.
