I have always felt the kind and sincere spirit of Guy Penrod. I also sensed something amiss within the 'gathering', so I pray that our LORD will continue to bless Mr. Penrod and his family; and the Bill Gaither singers
If it's possible, I would like to send Guy some songs I've written; Christian songs. Please send me an address to forward them. Thank you.

I too have been blessed over and over when Guy
Penrod sang with the Gaithers. I miss him terribly
and the Vocal Band is no longer the same. I pray
that God will richly bless Guy and the Gaither VC as
they glorify our Lord through their music. I also pray
that Guy would return to the Gaither VB in the very
near future.

I'm having a hard time with the fact that Guy Penrod is no longer with the Gaither Vocal Band. Can't believe I didn't know it before now. Must be really old stuff TV is showing.

I began going to gospel quartet conventions in the early 1960's. Soon I began to feel that many were in the business of entertainment for a pay check. There is nothing wrong with making a "fair wage for a fair day's owrk"; however, in gospel music, it is my opinion that the messages in the songs should be from the heart and the entertainment shoud be to glorify God. To me the wonder and awsomeness of God through Guy Penrod's music. Already have tickets to the Paramount in Ashland for next month.
May God give Guy many more years to uplift the name of Jesus
Christ.

I love to listen to Guy sing. You can tell that he is genuine.
I like his long hair, although mine isn't. I think the length
of his hair is between him and Jesus.
