Father, I lift up the other members of the leadership team, and ask that You fill them with wisdom that passes understanding, with Your peace, that they might know what to do and say in this time of need. That the needs of this church community will become paramount.
Father, I pray that at this time, Your angels bring a salve to those in a desperate situation.
I pray that You Lord, will be revealed to all. I ask Father for a covering with the precious blood of the Lamb. That the powers that seek to destroy will be held at bay and that Jesus will be lifted up and glorified.

I only know of one thing we can do at this time. One thing that will save the day. And that is to pray.
Father, I ask for You to extend Your hand of mercy to “father Ted” at this time. That at a time of crisis, You will reveal Yourself. in all things. That Father, this mans family will know the love You have for them all, and that they are still in Your sights and that You have not forgotten them.

Not only does he bring “father Ted “down, he brings the family down, he brings the ministry down, he brings the leadership team down, and he brings the church and the people within it down. Everyone pays, and I guess for me that is the most saddening thing.
The result of one mans action cause devastation to a whole community.
And the media have a great time, pillaring all Christians for this deed.
But what can I do? What can any of us do? We can of course sit in judgment, and I'm sure we can find scripture to support this course of action but how does this help?

IIt’s interesting to see the reaction of the Christian community to this situation.
I have heard of Tom Brock and have been at a meeting in NZ where he spoke.
I have never even heard of “father Ted” (the poms will understand the irony of this label) and know nothing of his past or of his crime. (Although it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to have some idea.)
The one thing I do know is that we face an enemy who seeks to destroy. To destroy the population in general, and the Christian in particular.
And in this circumstance our enemy is having a field day.

After reading through all of these comments, how the devil will be laughing at the lack of unity of God's church. Thanks be to God that that He is above all, He is all knowing, all loving, His judgement is perfect and He shall never change!

Reading the replys if feel someone needs to say Judge not lest you be Judged and touch not my annointed. Kind David refused to kill saul when he disobayed God. We better all watch our step because it is God who will have the last word. God weep over his wonded flock and He says vengance is mine. So pray these leaders out by all means and pray for restoration for the flock. Only God knows the full picture.

I am really glad someone has the courage to right about this issue. When I was batttleing with things I asked for help and ended up so wonded and missunderstood. We as Christians do not always experience the same levels of attack and no- one can assume that we know what someone elles is going through.

We are all sinners. But because God so loved us that He sent Jesus to save us, so that God called us to become His children and have eternal life in heaven with Him..God loves us no matter what..even His discipline is proof of His love..Ted is being disciplined by God because He loves him..and surely He will restore Ted into righteousness because this is His purpose.

It is not a question of loving the fallen, mercy or forgiveness. It's about scattering and destroying the flock. It is a question of restoration to the position that has been violated and sometimes continuously violated. Churches disolve, divorces happen, children are jacked up, people walk away from the Lord forever, lives are wrecked forever, but let's make sure the pastor saves his ministry, paychecks and lifestyle. What happened to being a servant of all? Forgive him, allow him be restored and then go get a job. Keep the molester out of the playground.

Annointed to preach it but not to live it? Why not just say; Do as I say, not as I do? With God's commandments come his enablements. God does not need you to preach. He could use a donkey if he wanted, but that would affect your income which is more likely the concern rather than the flock to be fleeced. I detect more concern for a man to be in ministry than for the countless lives that are shipwrecked.
