As a charismatic Mormon, I find David's music to be an oasis in this desert... Thank you, God, for bringing this man's musical anointing to my home and heart. My wife and I saw him in SLC with Gaither. Please, David, come back to SLC and let us once again drink from the well of music you produce for and in Christ. We so need it here...so need it here!

I have never been blessed by anyone musician as much as I have David Phelps. David has a beautiful voice from the Lord and I am thankful that I have had the privilege to hear his magnificent voice in concert. The recordings are wonderful, but the live performances go beyond that! I have tried to find his concert schedule for 2008-2009 to no avail. Would appreciate receiving info via e-mail if possible.

i really miss you not being with the gaither vocal band david. i wish you well on all your new adventures and hope you wont stop singing good old southern gospel. that is where you really shine . how i miss that great range. i had the great honor of seeing you at second baptist church here in 2007. what a show.

My favourite and best Gospel male singer ever!Bill Gaither had been blessed to find a singer with this exceptional talent !Dave,I miss seeing u with the wonderful Gaither Vocal Band but I wish u well in your solo career.All the best to the GAITHER'S as well!
Your albums are famous all over Fiji,and we do pray that u come over one day!
Dave ,u sing better than any creature I have heard sing in the whole universe...even the angels..coz like me and all humans, u know how priveleged we are to have been sinners and saved only by God's Grace.
In what ever you choose to do with that angelic voice,my best wishes and prayers r wit u!
May God continue to bless u n your family....

David Phelps is an incredible singer. You know, God has anointed Bill Gaither with the winning formula to assemble such an awesome group of singers down through the ages.........russ staff, Gary Macspadden. David Phelps etc etc. I will miss Phelps voice. We just have to realize that no man has it all and life goes on and to every great singer there is......a greater one will come along. The singers in the current gaither vocal band are off tha chain (awesome). That harmony is still seriously tight. Let us continue to pray for the group and let us always remember to pray for past singers of this group such as Russ Taff, Phelps and the others that they will contnue to sing and affect lives for the glory of God.....amen?

This great singer blessed my heart every time I heard him with the group. I am pretty sure that Bill and the group missed him so dearly but life goes on anyway. He has been blessed by God with a lovely voice and I wish him well in the future with with his plans. May the Holy Spirit guide him in every steps of the way. Remember dont loose sight so God. Bless you.

David Phelps has a voice that calms the soul. After losing my son in 1988, I searched for answers that have never come. When I listen to the songs of the Gaithers and David Phelps, I feel peace for a short while. Mr. Phelps, I hope you find the same peace that you have given to all who wish you well. The types of songs that you sing, will map your direction, and you will feel it in your heart!! May God bless you in your solo career.
