Guitarist with Poor Old Ben, Tim Lessels, dies.
LEAD GUITARIST with mainstream Scottish band Poor Old Ben, Tim Lessels, was found dead at his home on Saturday 31st January. Tim's funeral took place at Holy Trinity Church, Elgin, on 7th February. The Tim Lessels Memorial Fund has been set up with the fund aiming to support people suffering from depression.
Poor Old Ben have received considerable critical acclaim since the release of the 2003 album 'Drawing Faces To Forget' on Benjamin Records. Towards the end of last year the band played a string of support slots from Mark Owen. The band, who will continue, are set to record a CD this year with Electric Honey Records.

Tim was the first real beat friend i ever had. I never forget him. Everytime i listen to wildhearts or megadeath i remember being at school with him
