Comment: I have this on the original vinyl, and on cd. Amy still has her simple way of singing on these songs, and has not come into her full vocal style. As everyone who is a fan of Amy''s music, knows, that her husband Gary Chapman wrote the title tune for this 1979 album. The title song starts off the album on side 1, "Faith Walkin' People" follows. If you have Amy's "Age to Age" concert, both of these songs are included. "Bridegroom" is a simple, joyful song, the music is a perfect match for the song. There is an old hymn, "O Sacred Head" which includes all of Amy's sisters singing along:"You Were There" is a classic pop style song. Amy either wrote or co-wrote, 8 of the 13 songs on the album. Amy ends the album with a simple emblem of faith "Keep it on Going". This album seems to lack some when compared to her debut in 1977; "Father's Eyes" is the most memorable song from this album. Amy's photographic innocence is captured on the front cover of the album. And because of the sale of her debut album, Myrrh asked her to record another lp. GOD Bless! - Don
