Comment:	Simon, hope you read this, a bit of a late response! I agree that suspense is more important than gore (eg 'The Others' is a 12 and plenty scary) but is it irresponsible for war films to not show excessive gore? Kubrick's 'Paths of Glory' is one of the best anti war films ever made and it's a PG!
