The latest set from this Scottish-based singer/songwriter once again shows Yvonne to be one of the UK's most underrated talents. The album is full to the brim with gorgeous melodies that perfectly showcase Yvonne's expressive voice. With each carefully crafted song it becomes more and more obvious why Yvonne's poignant and insightful tracks have attracted mainstream interest. The track "Farewell" paints a picture of loss with its haunting atmosphere created by the shruti box played by Yvonne and the Gaelic vocals that blend into Yvonne's singing. The album ends emotionally with a song of love that plucks at the listener's heartstrings in time with the music. From start to end the listener is taken on a journey, just a slow walk through all the emotions they can feel from love to hope and loss to faith. A top rate set up there with Yvonne's previous gems 'Fearless' and 'Ashes & Gold'.
