The latest Tribe offering is a compilation album with a difference. Full of remixes, radio edits and some new tracks, 'Revived' is well worth the crinkly, folding stuff! The music is bang up to date with a melodic, Euro type feel on tracks like "Reach For Heaven" and "Peace" whilst still retaining a harder edge on others - "Maximum Level" and "Alleluia" spring to mind. Elements of reggae, dub and drum and bass are in evidence in "Revival" which sits well alongside the more phat-funk, club-style tracks like "Get God". Excellent packaging and top notch production are a Tribe hallmark and 'Revived' does not disappoint. One of the most appealing aspects of WWMT is their ability to reach out to the youth culture with a style of music that is fresh and vibrant. They are not just making a carbon copy of secular music and then 'Jesus stamping' it, they are bringing originality, class and radical truth to a confused and media hyped genre.
