Another compilation released in connection with the popular women's conferences in USA. It's all a bit overly nice and sweet for British tastes though, being presented with a familiar CCM inspirational-by-numbers formula displaying as much character as a plastic fish-and-chip fork. Amy Grant's "Imagine" sounds surprisingly passionless, Anointed's "Not The I But The You In Me" is one of their dullest numbers, and Point Of Grace sound like depressed androids with their acappella "Before The Throne". Being a little more positive, at least Cindy Morgan presents a catchy tune with "Sweet Days Of Grace" and Kristy Starling gives a strong performance in "Broken". With a release like this, it makes me glad to be a man, so I have a good excuse to never listen to it again. My wife, mother and daughters all deserve better. P.S. Sorry for such an ungraceful review: but the inspiring theme of grace deserves to be treated better.
