A live album, recorded at The Amulet in Shepton Mallet, which captures one of Britain's hardest working Christian bands "in the act". Fans will recognise many of the tracks here, taken from their previous albums 'Rachel Says Boo!' and 'Giggle', although there are a few new songs. Musically it's what you'd expect, stomp city, manic fiddling and if you don't feel the urge to leap around like a loony then you're listening to the wrong album and according to my mate Phil, "Eden Burning gone doo lally!" The album starts with "Good For My Old Mother", a frenetic reworking of the traditional chorus "Give Me That Old Time Religion", and from then on the pace is wild. Favourites such as "While Rome Burns", "Because The Drug" and "A Day In The Life Of" take on a harder edge and become catchier than ever. For me though, "I Don't Adam And Eve It" and Woody Guthrie's "Jesus Christ" stand out as examples of Why? at their best. Fans will love this album and fans of The Pogues, the Levellers and the Saw Doctors should definitely check it out.

quite simply the best folk alum ever and that is a 100%
definate. if you into punk or even country music but want
something totally different then this is it. I been listning
to music since 60s and alsways went for the most out there
sounds to impress be different and edify my creative spirit,
well this band is all in one. if they had managed to create
the same energy sincerity and fun in secular sound theywould
be massive and on jools ogwt (when it was on) radio 2 folk
night and i beliueve up there (and truely deserve it) to
have won folk awards, you owe to the band to listen to jig
at a why, as like most true music lovers they fail to
capture the energy in the studio that they do live and here
is blistering performance.
