The band's name gives a hint: a mainly white band from Texas, describing themselves as "a Christian R&B funk and groove band with deep soulish lyrics, crisp harmonies and driving beats," with a 10-strong lineup. The band's website describes their "mission to glorify God through our singing, dancing and words. a mission to entertain an audience without compromising our message. A mission of evangelism. a mission of love, tearing down walls of racism." Judging by this CD, they succeed. They hit the listener hard with those beats, horns, guitars and the keyboards of founder member and producer Tim Wiseman. When the driving pace relents it gives way to soulful song of devotion "Here's My Heart"; then you're back to the sheer fun of "What's Over Your Head Is Under His Feet". This is music to make you smile (and laugh with their disco cliché steal "That's the way - ah ha ah ha - God likes it") while it gives serious testimony to the wonderful grace and sustaining power of Jesus.
