Gospel reggae has become an established, if still underrated, part of Christian music's creative armoury and this impressive 15-song selection takes in most of reggae's sub genres, past and present, with considerable skill while the lyrics of the songs here show in some of their titles (eg, "Fulfilment Of The Bible" and "Prayer For Jamaica") the serious spiritual intent of Mr Stoddart. If you're looking for dancehall, one-drop, lovers rock, rub-a-dub and more there's plenty here to get you up on your feet to turn your front room into a rockers jam-session. Best cuts here are "Black And White" (featuring the modestly named Tony Genius), "Dance In The Rain" and best of all, "Charity Dub". Here's hoping that Wayne will followup this release with dub versions of all the tracks.
