The Pennsylvania band straddle the genres of hardcore and metal with ease, on this their third offering. They have called upon the talents of Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying fame, who does a good job behind the desk. The song "All Consuming Fire" which kicks off the album has debuted on MTV's Headbangers Ball and Doug Van Pelt of HM magazine gave this album a big thumbs up. Guitar riffs and solos feature heavily on the album, whereas vocals come in a harsh variety, with only the occasional clean vocals. Personally I prefer more of a mixture between the two. If there be any criticism, it would be that the songs sound a bit similar and I would like to have heard a bit more experimentation. Having said that, lyrics are a strong point of the album, lifting up the living God without resorting to biblical clichés. The album grows on me with each play.
