This CD is a compilation of 11 previously released Vineyard UK songs on the theme of closeness and hunger for God and it will therefore come as no surprise to find that it has a reflective and worshipful feel to it. Personally, I find reflective albums difficult to get into unless I am in a similar frame of mind but this one was certainly made a good attempt at it. This is helped by the inclusion of some Vineyard classics like "Be The Centre", "Hungry" and "All Who Are Thirsty". Of the newer songs here, "Psalm 13" is by far the best of the bunch and perhaps demonstrates the major drawback of a compilation like this. The later Vineyard material is not, in my opinion, as good as the earlier songs - in fact I will venture to suggest that the Vineyard sound is starting to get a little tired. However, overall it's a compilation that fulfils its purpose and will be a useful addition to the collections of those who do not already have most of the material contained within it.
