Vienna hails from the Philippines where she has quite a career. This is her third album which she had a hand in writing, playing on and producing. She also offers these services to other acts having been the mastermind behind boy-band DNA's last album and the lyricist for the Japanese TV series Initial D. You'll be able to hear one of her song's on what promises to be next year's hit animated feature Twin Princes. With all this behind her you'd wonder why we've not yet heard about her in Blighty but amazingly this album doesn't yet have UK distribution which is a pity as it's quality stuff. We've got a collection of fourteen pop pieces which stylistically fall somewhere between Shakira and Melissa Etheridge - jangly guitars and programmed rhythms with passionate delivery. Lyrically the songs aren't outrightly evangelistic, rather they speak about life with a godly view and offer encouragement to the believer. Being in no way associated with the mighty powerhouse of Christian music that is Nashville this fresh, engaging album has a kind of naïve charm that I found really endearing. If you look for variety in your Christian music then I heartily recommend Vienna to you.

I am just an old fan of yours, with all your songs it makes
my life easier and make me feel better. In times of trouble,
sadness, loneliness and even if the world falls down on me.
Most of the time I park my car in the parking lot and listen
your CD until time goes by. For you Vienna, you got the
world in your hand. For those people who doesn't know what
your song is about and what it really mean is. All i can say
is. "NO HABLA DE ENGLISH" dont let them pull you down. You
got the talent and I am one who inspired by your song. I
would say that, sing and show the whole world who you really
are.
