You've got to hand it to the Veggie Tales scriptwriters. It can't be easy to take the painful tale of King David's adultery with Bathsheba and turn it into a morality tale for children using vegetables for characters. But do it they do and masterful it is. King George (known by all his fans as Larry the Cucumber) is quite fond of taking baths, particularly with his rubber ducky. Then disaster strikes. He spies Junior Asparagus taking a bath with his duck and is overcome with water foul lust. Sending Asparagus off to fight in the "Great Pie Wars", the voices of the King's aide (Bob Tomato) and a Nathan impersonator called Melvin eventually show the King the error of his ways. The song "Ducky" is suitably silly, and though the story takes a while to kick in, once it does the young and young at heart are sure to be hooked.
