V (Vienna) Rose is based in California and has been recording both hip-hop and teen pop for a few years now. This four-track release follows a signing to Inpop (Vienna was previously with Clear Sight Music) and as a result her high energy pop is likely to be heard by a bigger audience. The opener "Fairy Tale Ending" has a message aimed at teens while vocally there are similarities to Katy Perry especially on "Love Shaped Heart". V's hip-hop past is demonstrated on "Take A Broken Heart" but it appears the focus is now on pop radio. With the right song, this label move could be good for the young lady, but the songs will need to be more memorable than those presented here.
