Wooaaahh! Was that a freight train de-railing itself in my garden? Phew, it's okay; it was just the opening riff from the title track of this molten metal mass. Speed demons will find their appetites fully satiated by this Oregon-based four-piece. Twin guitars wail across walls of rock solid rhythm whilst vocalist Scott Waters gives it the full-on throat ranging from high pitched screams right down into the gutter of thrash grunts. Lyrics which deal with the harsh realities of life in today's world, abortion ("The Killing Fields"), occult ("Black Light") and hypocrisy ("Darkest Void") are convincingly delivered in a musical package with all the speed, power and mass of a meteorite. A notable bonus is the final track, "World Of Sin", which is mixed by Rex Carroll, and if you don't know who Rex Carroll is you won't want to buy the album.
