One-time Skypark man Tyrone has since established himself as a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and his 'Metal & Wood' album produced the Cross Rhythms turntable hit "Running Around In My Dreams". Now the Washington-based songsmith is back with this set. Tyrone sums up the thought provoking vulnerability in the title track saying, "It delves into all of the madness and chaos of the world right now. There's so much in life that we can't control, but we can control how we treat each other. The heart of the record can be encapsulated in the closing lyric of 'Where We Meet': 'Take my hand, all we have is a moment, so hold nothing back.'" In the main there are no explicitly Christian lyrics, rather echoes of faith in his musings about personal love. For instance, the acoustic guitar-driven "I Can't Save You" is lush and atmospheric with heartfelt lyrics about a guy who wants to help someone but realizes that he cannot save the loved one from their personal demons. "You Still Love Me" finds a man who is oh-so-aware of his faults and that his world is crumbling around him yet the love of his life stays there and still loves him, no matter what happens in his life. If you're looking for an album of mature relationship songs with a lush and slick sound (four different producers involved), look no further.
