If Geoff Mann's superlative 'Loud Symbols' has you craving to discover the man's musical roots or if you were once a student looner going gaga at Fests over progressive rock, this is a (double) album you've long awaited. Never a band to quite make it to the Big Time, Twelth Night were nevertheless firm favourites of hippies and heavy heads alike and this compilation, pulled from released and unreleased recordings during the early 80s show imaginative, if sometimes portentous compositions played with inventiveness and with lead singer/songwriter Geoff showing much talent. If nineteen minute long tracks are your thing, investigate.
