As the custodian of all things old and gold at UCB Cross Rhythms, I occasionally come across incidents where present-day and past coincide.  I've recently given a couple of spins on my Time Tunnel show to a CD in the archives by Hampshire band The Electric Revival, who split in '96.  The first time I did so, Tony Cummings poked his head round the studio door, tossed this tape to me and said "Tim Sherrington, ex-lead singer, still busy in CCM, listen to this".  So I listened, and found that Tim could still write a song.  Sadly, the production doesn't match the material and this is clearly a demo.  Having said that, Tim is an excellent songwriter and his move to worship ministry is marvellous (witness his wonderful track on the Blazevision CD).  While we await a full scale Sherrington CD, you might want to investigate this tape.
