ThingamaKid are America's Matt and Krystal Huesmann and if that doesn't say a lot to you I can inform you that Matt was involved in the successful Veggie Tales Sing-Alongs series. Here we have songs that start with a letter of the alphabet with little artistic creation to make them fit. . . the exception being "eXceeding Great & Precious Promises Given To Us" for the letter X! Musically, there has been some effort put into the tracks to make them attractive. Lyrically, the songs are short and to the point sticking to the Scripture, helping the memory, and are delivered by vocalists David Wise and Angela Cruz, who with eight children do a quality job. The track based on John 3:16 is a good example of children and adults producing a easily remembered song. Another is the song for G will result of many shouts of GO in the house! The only drawback here, is in making this accessible to children, with songs containing the Bible verse only, the disc is only 36 minutes long! A minor quibble, this CD is recommended.
