The band would appear to be French Canadian, but I have to say that this is the only really unusual thing here. That's not to say it's a bad album, it's not, but neither lyrically or musically is there anything here which is likely to make you sit up. We are talking American stadium rock here, with spiritually worthy lyrics - worthy but I have to say they could have been written any number of bands. I'm fairly happy to listen to this sort of thing myself, but if I want something to stimulate me, I'd go and put on the Seventy Sevens or something similar anytime. Sometimes you need that slightly askance view of a thing to make you see it properly for the first time. This, however, is the sort of thing I'd put on when I'm doing something else, and I don't particularly want to concentrate on the music. Great driving music perhaps, great thinking/praying music, probably not.
