French Canadians The Kry have stripped down their line up and now comprise of Jean-Luc and Yves Lajoie plus a range of supporting musicians and have perhaps given us the best modern worship collection of the millennium so far. The album kicks off with the upbeat "Holy Is Your Name" and "Be Exalted" before settling into a Coldplay styled groove of slower, more thought provoking numbers. The highlight here is the astounding "Faithful", mixing melody with melancholy to produce the chemistry of expression and emotion that is typical of the Psalms on which this song is based. In addition, the title track is a beautifully suitable offering to a matchless God and you would be hard pressed to find a better couple of songs on any album this year. Jean-Luc's vocals are tender and strong at the same time and they really seal the quality of these original compositions coupled with the sensitive and innovative production of Elijah Thomson. If you are longing to find a true example of modern worship music which provides top notch musicianship with the ability to minister to the heart, then 'God Of Infinite Worth' is for you.
