The Isaacs have been established for some years in the States as a very fine family bluegrass group with wonderful harmonies. For their first solo release on Gaither Music, they present 10 superb songs in a slightly more modern manner reminiscent of some recent recordings by Alison Krauss, some of which have been featured on various Gaither Homecoming videos. They are all very fine songs that sound very fresh and full of meaning, like the title track which is about various ordinary people that Rebecca has come across who spend their lives helping disadvantaged people and thus are 'Heroes' as far as she is concerned. Having been knocked out by "Sweet Holy Spirit" on the 'Rocky Mountain Homecoming' video, it is just great to get this stunning song on this new album, where Sonya's vocal is just unbelievably good. Personally I have not been so moved by a song for a long time. This album has been nominated for eight SGN music awards including album of the year. The only drawback on a very fine album is that 10 tracks is a little bit short compared to many of the other Gaither albums which run for so much longer and are cheaper in price.

Product Description
If you have enjoyed The Isaacs guest appearances on the Gaither Homecoming DVD's, now you can experience more from their repertoire.
Long before bluegrass was re-discovered, the Isaacs were musical troubadours, faithfully performing a unique blend of bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, contemporary acoustic and southern gospel for their loyal listeners. Heroes, the Isaacs' first release on the Gaither Music Group label, captures the Isaacs bluegrass roots but also features additional instrumentation, marking a new era of sound for the newest members of the Gaither music family.
