An acousticish 10-track album that offers more of the songwriting talents of Michael Weston King. Apart from the odd bit of electric guitar and organ, this is the band stripped right back to a basic guitar/bass/drum combo, giving a ton of room to Mike's vocal abilities. He delivers his songs of life, love and faith, subjects ranging from lost love to domestic violence with a passion that suggests the guy means every word. A lesser band would struggle to make much of this stuff work in the studio, but fine picking, classy songs and a first class vocal delivery will only serve to add another notch to The Good Sons' growing portfolio of critical acclaim.
