This is down home bluegrass gospel from a band based in Nashville. We begin with the lively title track opener where the lead vocals put me in mind of a group from 20 years ago, The New Tradition. "This Time's For The Lord" sounds similar to the sort of tune they were doing all those years ago. Throughout the album there is a relaxed down home feel to the music with plenty of variety including an instrumental "Rezo Ride" featuring lead banjo though not the kind of frenetic playing often associated with bluegrass such as the Flatt & Scruggs classic "Foggy Mountain Banjo". Also featured here are some strong contributions from mandolin and fiddle. Altogether a fine album containing a variety of musical approaches.
