You should be able to get this in the UK Christian bookshops pretty soon but if, like me, you're clammoring to get your hands on the latest CD from the world's greatest Christian rock'n'reel band, The Electrics' leader Sammy Horner will sell you a German import (intriguingly, Scotland's finest are signed to a German secular company). Though recorded in Nashville, this riotous romp of rollicking jigs, surprisingly gutsy rock guitars and Sammy's wonderful way with lyrics, make this a million miles away from Nashville production line stuff. Producer Phil Madeira wisely lets the songs speak for themselves and whether plaintive ("Kaydee's Lament") or romping ("Finest Fiddle On The Earth"), the effect is continually engaging. Another Electrics album to treasure.
