The latest offering from The Echoing Green who have gone through some personnel changes and a new record label. Once upon a time there was Joey Belville; now then are four! Joey has a talent for creating a catchy chorus and tunes such as "Supernova", "Waterfall" and perhaps one of my favourite worship songs ever - "Nightfall & Splendor" - have worked their way into my brain and refuse to leave. The song "Nightfall..." is a cover of a Mortal song whose Jerome Fontamillas has a hand in production. Actually I prefer the original but only just ahead of this. The CD is also enhanced which adds to the overall good packaging and is full of goodies including a remix of "Supernova" and "Aurora 2000'. They describe their music as electronic rock which just about covers it. They even have a music video on the enhanced CD of "Yesterday Taking Over" which is a very good song and ready made for CMTV on GOD Digital - hint, hint! If you've never heard of The Echoing Green then this might be your time to catch up or if you are an established fan then certainly don't miss this one, as I think this is their best album since the 'Aurora' remix album.
