The popular Collingsworth Family have certainly worked hard in selecting fresh new material for this 14 track release. The Collingsworth Family consist of dad Phil, mum Kim, son Phillip and their three daughters, Brooklyn, Courtney and Olivia. They really do harmonise very well, but like several other Stowtown Records releases there is too much MOR orchestration for my taste. This is sad, as their voices either collectively or individually are very listenable, but for me, too often they are drowned out. A real pity as there are some strong titles here, in particular the catchy and very country title track. "Altar Of Grace" is for me the standout track. Others include a really strong testament to the Christian faith, "God Still Delivers", and "Casting Our Crowns At His Feet/Worthy The Lamb". Kim is a very talented pianist and she concludes this excellent release with an instrumental tour de force on "We Shall Behold Him/The King Is Coming". All in all, an enjoyable release despite the florid orchestrations.
