The Clark Sisters, long since renowned and certainly famed for their dynamic attributes both on and off the stage - have come up with a new album produced by a certain Benjamin Winans. Unfortunately, this album sounds almost too familiar with a project produced by another member of the Winans clan, Mario Winans - the Anointed's 'Spiritual Love Affair'. Sure enough, the Clark Sisters are in fine voice and turn out some notable tunes that won't be unfamiliar with gospel lovers. But if you are into the black gospel groove in a heavy way or you either listen to or buy everything the Winans are connected with, then I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusion as me, that there is nothing here which sets this album apart from anything else. Maybe the Sisters are missing the huge influence of Twinkie. Maybe BeBe simply wasn't the right producer to bring out the earthy fire of the Sisters. But somehow this album fails to live up to its potential.
