The interestingly titled 'U Gada No' sees Terry teamed with producer Roby Duke. Recorded back in 1993, this couldn't be more different from Terry's 'Heaven Is Not That Far Away'. Opening with a couple of generic ballads (which sadly haven't travelled well into the 21st century) to then reveal the heart of the album contains songs that have a little more pzazz! Check out the title cut, "Can't Go Wrong" or the irrepressible "Happy" and you'll discover a songwriter and producer working in tandem to hit the mark. The grooviest of them all is "Same Old Song" which matches a blue-eyed soul vocal with some funky horns and rhythms. One adventurous track "Jesus Mighty Fortress" matches some country violin with R&B grooves and another soulful vocal - sounds strange doesn't it? But it works to fine effect! Best when he's letting loose, don't let the ballads mislead you!
