The first track on this album "Joy Of The Lord" blows you away. The powerhouse vocals from this veteran gospel singer are breathtaking and you quickly realise why Tamela was once a lead singer with Kirk Franklin And The Family. This is the third album from this multi-talented performer who was nominated for a Stellar for female vocalist and contemporary female artist of the year in 2008. Tamela is not just being recognised for her singing abilities, she has also been a part of the Tyler Perry camp starring in a number of his films and plays. Among all her acting commitments Mrs Mann still has time to produce an exceptional album and you can find more evidence of this whilst listening to "In Him". This track has a heavy bass line with an almost marching theme and strong lyrics. "Anything For You" is another upbeat and catchy track. Tamela describes her music as "...my way of thanking God for the gift of music" and she surely has a blessing. Tamela and her husband David produced this album with help from Myron Butler. The ballad "Send Me" is beautiful and expresses a wish to be sent out into the world and do God's work. Powerful stuff.
