One of Word's American rave discoveries, and an astonishingly good album it is too. It's a fusion of rave, techno and rock which produces a style that's quite mechanical and yet varied in an almost quirky manner. It is refreshingly scriptural too, with the simple theme of various Biblical commands. Indeed, titles such as "Thou Shalt Not Kill", "Burning Bush" and "Moses" give it a strong Old Testament identity. I think it's the most intelligent use of rave music yet made by Christians. It's so upfront that it will work in worship, in teaching, in evangelism and, hopefully, just for a darn good dance. The standout track for me is "Repent", with it's insistent command backed up by a monstrous bass line. There aren't many rave albums that are enjoyable to listen to outside of a rave setting, but this one truly is. This stuff is good for your raves, good for your youth group and good for your soul.
