Yep, we know it's a decidedly light-hearted decision by the San Diego rockers to cut a cover of Bon Jovi's classic from 1986. And we wouldn't claim that this retread is anything other than a bit of studio fun. But in view of the fact that our heroes will shortly be gigging with the song's originators, plus the fact that the song's lyrics take on a certain resonance for praying Christians, we're hoping CR listeners will accept this not-intended-for-radio cover in the fun-filled spirit with which it was obviously recorded.
