Here are 10 or so hip-hop acts given remixes by Montana-based producer Sundance. He is clearly adept at creating interesting backing grooves and vibes, giving added character to the rhymes, making them more acceptable for repeated listens. "Astronomy" by Nomis has a suitably spacey atmosphere, while the opener "Up In Your System" by Macho featuring Jurny Big & Zane ONE has a slow yet confident rhythm with deep bass diving notes. However, if you're into the rhymes themselves, there's not so much to take note of. Sareem Poems has one standout line in "Soul Tower": "Put your money where your mic is", he suggests, but otherwise there is a general lack of focus and rather too much random rambling. DaFuniks featuring Elias' "Hello I Love You" is going to offend with its chauvinistic Casanova style bragging, so it's best to switch off before you get that far. Such a remix talent deserves better raw material.
