If you had to list CCM artists who have made a significant impact in the mainstream arena over the last decade, you'd probably be able to count them on one hand. Still a teenager, but now with the might of Virgin Records behind her, Stacie Orrico is one who has achieved worldwide singles and album chart success. If Stacie and the sleevenotes on the live DVD are to be believed, her most dedicated fans are in Japan, and they certainly show some appreciation as she delivers immaculate performances of almost the entire second album. Stacie is more than capable as a live performer, and clearly warms to the audience response. Also showcased are "Genuine" and "Dear Friend" from the debut CD, plus a cover of the old Ella Fitzgerald song "Can't We Be Friends", highlighting Stacie's love of jazz and her versatility as a singer. The band obviously like a bit of jazz too, following on with their own interlude, while Stacie exits for one of many costume changes. Not surprisingly, the high spots of the show come with "Stuck" and finale "More To Life", and if you want to compare them against studio versions, the videos of the two singles are included as extras at the end. Watching the show, it's refreshing see a chart star living out her Christian faith with a live act that stays well clear of revealing attire and sleazy dance moves.
