Skinney T from South Bucks will be known to some Cross Rhythms listeners as Forgive (his "Bounce" got considerable CR airplay). This new set kicks off with a pumping bassline party track as Skinney testifies to the greatness of God compared to some of the pointless back chat of much rap. In "Armoured Solider" produced by Victizzle, the emcee shows some clever rhyming patterns, a trait also heard on the personal "War" as "Jack met ill. . ./Fell in love with God's will" and testifies to the power of Jesus. Skinney isn't afraid to confront the evil of racism head-on in "Probably Black" (as in Adam and Eve were probably black) while "Tightrope" is a rap ballad crossover and is the kind of track that deserves airplay above One Direction any day! A standout real boom bap beat comes from D. Weithers in "Miracle" featuring Tan Brown, which cries out for some killer rhymes and flow and Skinney T does not disappoint. We end this highly impressive album with Skinney combining clear and creative rhymes as he expresses how alive he feels walking with God.
