The sixth album by Dallas, Texas-based rapper Sivion is his first after a three year gap. The album starts with "Ladies And Gentleman" and features DJ Aslan on the mixing. It's a smooth head-bopping backing track on which Sivion lays down his thoughts about mentoring and life and his opposition to gun culture ("Sivion will reach deep with this lesson/Make you back up and put down your Smith & Wesson"). Being a fan of acoustic hip-hop I can relate to "Real Talk" which features MuzeONE, Jurney Big and DJ Sean P. There is a Motown-tinged jazz groove which with the acoustic guitar works well together. "The Best" is a collaboration with DJ Manwell which is surely a track that brings his best word play and lyrics to the game ("It hides deep inside to find the value/The things what you see can't always be true"). The cut also has a surprising sample at the start featuring what sounds like a country singer! "One Two" is one of those summer hip-hop joints cleverly put together and featuring R&B singer Heather James. Other tracks on the album include those with Sintax The Terrific, Propaganda and Yung Rick. Overall a well above average album.
