Sierra is an all-girl trio from Tennessee, whose voices blend together in silky smooth harmonies, reminiscent of Wilson Phillips. The production is of a high standard and some of the musos credited are amongst Nashville's finest and even Phil Collins' bassist has been enlisted! Musically, the songs range from ballads such as "I Know You Know", through the Banglesque "No Higher Place" to a rockier feel on "I Need". Lyrically, all the songs are cringe-free and demonstrate acceptance of human failings and the need for a higher power in life, which seems to be a recurring theme throughout. Maybe there could have been a bit more variety theme-wise but this is my only criticism.
