The title of this one is significant in several ways; firstly, Sierra have left Star Song, and are now looked after by north-west coast label Pamplin, of Portland, Oregon (is Nashville losing its hold?); secondly, and surprisingly to some no doubt, production duties are in the hands of John and Dino Elefante, emphasising even more the grittier sound that Sierra have always had, compared to, say, Point Of Grace; and thirdly, there's a change in personnel. Deborah Schnelle has departed, her replacement Marianne Tutalo joining founder members Jennifer Hendrix and Wendi Foy Green. With this, their fourth release, the girls have given us a varied and very polished set of 10, some have composing credits to Wendi, and a tight band, featuring David Huff's drums, Eric Oarken's percussion and the acoustic guitar of Scott (Out Of The Grey) Dente, give strong support. Several radio hits here; the title track (one Wendi helped to write) gives the girls' clean vocal harmonies room to soar; "Everything", "Bring Christ Your Broken Heart" and "Make Me" are all on the UCB Europe playlist, and all are thoughtful and inspirational, yet non-cringeworlhy numbers. If you've tended to dismiss American female vocal groups as too sickly sweet, check this one out - it's a drop of good stuff.
