Siani’s previous singles “Missing U” and “We Ain't Got No" got Cross Rhythms airplay but never, to my ears, hit the high spots. This is different! Both “The Corner”, with its insidious, bass heavy groove conceived by writer/producer Linslee Campbell and “Get Up On The Floor” with a slinky, soulful feel and a lyric which actually contains spiritual content. Quite brilliant, and you get a video on this enhanced CD, this is surely the recording that will break Britain’s premier female R&B gospel group.
