Integrity's excellent "Shout Praises!" series illustrates what can be done to create excellent music for kids. This collection of lively gospel praise songs is engaging, lively, fun and has high musical and vocal qualities. Producer Israel Houghton has created an environment where kids can engage in praise and really let loose. Although the songs themselves are a collection of adult oriented worship songs like "Freedom", "Trading My Sorrows", "Get Up" and "Shout", they are re-shaped to make them kid friendly and the result is an upbeat urban album that would keep both adults and children happy on a long car journey. Now you can't say that about many children's albums can you?
