Unusually for me, by the time I was mid-way through this album whilst listening to the ballad "It's Under The Blood", I'd decided to give it a whooping 10 out of 10. This is what gospel music should be about - uplifting and encouraging, God-centred lyricism with heart touching vocals - and Ms Caesar has that in overflowing abundance. The said song gets you into church, whilst the next track, "Lift Him Up", will get you moving to its sprightly tempo as you worship! The album opens with the funky, R&B-vibed "Rejoice", followed by the big choir backed, encouraging "Armour Of God". The title track is an uplifting down tempo song over which Ms Caesar's impassioned vocals tower and easily touches one's heart. Ditto the big ballad "I Am God"! Top marks for an album that will please traditional gospel fans, whilst finding lots of young, R&B/soul fans too. If you're at home and feel like being in church, this album will bring the church to you!
